Before coming to UCSB, I worked in the Department of Biostatistics at the University of Michigan. I am an elected fellow of the ASA, IMS, and ISI, a fellow of RSS, and a member of IBS and ICSA. My research interests lie in the development of statistical methodology and their applications. My current research areas include smoothing spline, mixed-effects models, survival analysis, longitudinal data, microarray data analysis, dialysis, circadian rhythm, hormone pulses, etc. I always welcome new collaborative research opportunities.
